After a few years of waiting for the old registration to expire we have finally repurchased the www.pawgenc.org domain name! While both www.pawgenc.org and www.pawgcls.org will route to the same website, this will allow for greater flexibility in making sure the members of Pennsylvania Wing know where to find all the vital information related to Encampment and Cadet Leadership School. We shortly will be transitioning all e-mail addresses to this domain. If you experience any problems with this new web address or associated e-mails, please contact the Webmaster. Spread the word!

Though it may only be August 2010, Pennsylvania Wing and the Encampment command staff are hard at work in preparing for the 2011 Pennsylvania Wing Encampment and Cadet Leadership School. You will notice the website has been updated to reflect the latest information as we prepare to being the process of selecting staff and opening the applications for student registrations. Of course, at this time there are still plenty of details to work out so please check back often for updated information. The first step will be to solidify positions for staff applications and set a timeline for that process as well as January interviews. Interested staff applicants can expect more information on the staff application process by November.

Wednesday the cadets had the excellent opportunity to tour Muir Army Airfeild at Fort Indiantown Gap. The cadets got to hear about helicopters as well as sit in them and take a close-up look. It was a fantastic trip. Tuesday was M16 day, when the cadets had the unique chance to use the Army's M16 and M9 simulation systems. They also had various classes on aerospace, character development, and of course daily PT. It proved to be a fun and rewarding day for all of the hard work the cadets have completed so far. The week is far from over yet though!
